UTI
We took Natalie to the ER Thursday night because her fever was quite high and had been for a few days, she wasn't eating her solids, very sleepy and most distrubing..not smiling. She has an X-ray where they stood her up and locked her in a plastic container, blood tests, an ultrasound (she fell asleep for that one). She narrowly escaped a catheter when she started peeing as they were about to insert in - a quick thinking nurse caught some pee mid-air. Then she was hooked up to an IV for a few days. So, we were told it was some sort of UTI, but it is not clear why. She may have to get an x-ray near the end of this week to make sure that things are flowing properly. We were discharged today with some antibiotics. Natalie was such a sport and is feeling much better. I think that she has lost a bit of her love for strangers though. I hope she never has to go through this again.

Poor Baby! and poor Nico and Loralie for having to deal with all that! She looks so adorable (and smiley) in that pic. I love it. Can't wait to see you guys again and glad the worst is over. Lord knows I can sympathize with the little spud, those UTI's can really do a girl in.
